Verdict
ALMOST ARTIE (10) steps right up in distance now following a 4.2L defeat last start when never getting into the race. Now third-up and at her peak, she's open to plenty of improvement and that makes her an attractive commodity in what looks a suitable race. KUNAPIPI (8) was sound first-up behind a sharp winner on the Scarpside at Pinjarra and showed good improvement second-up last campaign. She'd trialled well coming into this campaign and this is much easier than what she tackled last start. Can shed the maiden tag. MYZOOM (7) was solid at big odds last start over 1300m and looks suited to the rise in trip. This looks a touch easier and with some luck on her side, she can make her presence felt. LAKEVIEW LIGHTNING (4) can make his own luck up on the speed and is not to be discounted. COSTA DEL DARLO (1) is worth including on debut.
