ROSE DIAMOND (11) presents for a leading metro barn and steps up in trip following a narrow defeat at Cranbourne over 1600m. She positions forward and is well-placed to break through. PLUCKY MO (2) was much better beaten 1L at Hamilton and there was plenty of merit in that effort. Fitter again and the middle distance is sure to suit. He has plenty of scope for improvement. CHESAPEAKE BABE (6) led and just missed at Great Western over a mile. She'd flopped over a middle distance prior and that's a niggle. Maps well and she rates to be around the mark. HE JUST GOES (1) tries hard and didn't have the best of it at Benalla last time. Will likely settle back today and finish it off.
