CONNEWARRE (3) dropped down in class and recorded a very easy win at Warwick by well over 3 lengths nearly a fortnight ago and his confidence would have now returned after some unlucky runs earlier in the year. He tries a mile for the first time which is always a query but he loves this track and can win again. ROMAN DAGGER (1) won her fresh up and then just battled over this trip last time out and probably needed the run. He will have no such issues third up and should be right in the finish. Each way. NERANO (2) is another progressive local gelding who was runner-up in the same race as the second pick last time out. He has plenty of pace and will be the one to peg back again. CRIMSON WARNING (5) whacked away gamely when finishing midfield at the Sunshine Coast over 1800m in a stronger field last time out. Her form at this level before that was good and she is not to be underestimated in this. Include in all combinations.
