TRACK PATCHER (5) charged home late to get up for third on debut last start over 1400m at Pakenham. Perfectly placed out to the mile and draws a nice gate again. Clearly looks the one to beat. GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS (7) returned from a nine-month spell with an encouraging second last time out over 1400m at Warrnambool. Placed in Listed company last prep over 2100m in Tassie so the extra trip here is right up her alley. Serious threat. YIANNI (3) did his best work late and was beaten just three lengths on debut recently over 1500m at Mornington. Will enjoy the longer run home here so watch for him late in the piece. WATERSPORTS (14) stalked the pace then battled on well for third when resuming over 1400m at Echuca last start. Lightly raced filly with plenty of scope for improvement.
