Not the force of old but has paid his way in hunters in recent seasons and signed off latest campaign with excellent second in the Foxhunters at Aintree. However, well held when unseating at Warwick on return last month and looks up against it here.

Took apart a small field with a run under his belt at Haydock (16.3f) last November. Best effort thereafter when runner-up at Newbury in March but absent since falling at Hereford (16f) later that month and often needs an outing to bring him on.

Headstrong sort who was well served by fitting of a hood when off the mark over fences for Lucinda Russell at Ayr (16.5f) in March. However, below best at Cartmel in May and he's undergone wind surgery/fitted with tongue tie ahead of debut for new yard.

Useful hurdle and chase winner who returned from 5 months off/wind surgery with a creditable second behind the very exciting L'eau Du Sud at Stratford (19.4f) 46 days ago. That ought to have blown the cobwebs away and he's 8 lb below his last winning mark.

Likeable sort who ran out a ready winner at Wetherby (19.4f) in February and battled well to edge a tight finish from a 7 lb higher mark back at that venue later the same month. Posted creditable fifth at Chepstow on return but others look better treated here.

Fairly useful hurdler who has ran to a similar level in a couple of starts over the larger obstacles, latest when third of 4 in handicap chase (11/8) at Ascot (18.8f, good) 24 days ago. Should give another good account.

Inconsistent over hurdles for Gordon Elliott, running poorly at Cork when last seen in January and likely best watched on yard/chase debut here.

Bagged fourth success over fences when taking 5-runner handicap chase at Huntingdon (19.9f, soft) 23 days ago. 6 lb higher now but warrants respect nonetheless.

Ex-French chaser who got off the mark over fences for Tim Vaughan at Market Rasen (21.4f) this time last year and backed that up with creditable second of 6 at Warwick (20f) in January. Since joined Warren Greatrex and is worth monitoring in market on yard debut.

No real impact in a couple of starts over hurdles for this yard, including on recent return from 14 months off at Doncaster. Hard to recommend on chasing bow.
