Tipping PORTER (8) can measure up. He's always promised a decent level of ability and put his best win together last start at Sale, coming clear to score by 2.75 lengths after racing on the pace. He likes this trip and should take catching in a suitable BM70. HOLA AMIGOS (4) found the line nicely fresh at Geelong, getting home late to grab third. Fitter for that, he can hold a position from the inside gate and should be hard to hold out late. EUGENIUS (3) can mix his form, winning in this grade two back at Sale before a sound effort at Flemington. He should roll forward with the 3kg claimer on and give a sight. HE'S BESET (1) struggled fresh but has the ability to win this on his day. Could improve. EMPRESSIVE ENUFF (2) is racing well and should be thereabouts.
