Fitted with the two trials and like the way he savaged the line at his latest when scoring over 800m at Hawkesbury. Clearly returned well and should prove too good for these. BLITZBURG (1) most experienced colt in the field and returns from a let-up. Anchored with the 59kg when third over 1200m at Eagle Farm on December 28. Winkers on and sure to be thereabouts. FERMOY (2) strong through the line on debut when third over 1100m here last November. Developed further and not far away in a recent 900m trial. Look for him late. TROPIC (7) strapping Zoustar colt out of Lone on debut for the Waller stable. Fitted with two sharp trials and gets his chance from the gate. MELANITE (5) first starter by Dirty Work out of Caesarissa from the in-form John Thompson yard. Looked good when placing in his only trial and must be kept safe.
