LEXINGTON CITY (3) finds the right race today following a narrow defeat over this trip at Ascot last time out. He drops in weight as he steps up in grade, but he's been competitive at this level previously Maps well for the straight course and looks the one to beat. SCISSOR STEP (2) comes across from Victoria where he built a handy record for Tony & Calvin McEvoy. He's had three trials in readiness for this and he looks right up to the mark. He's won 3/6 fresh in the past and he appears the main danger. UNDER INFLUENCE (7) is racing well without winning this time in work and has been clocking some strong splits late in the race recently. The straight course may suit today and if he's within striking distance through the middle stages, he'll be going close to winning. SIR DREAMALOT (9) creates interest as a 3YO after contesting the feature races last campaign. Can put his best foot forward. SILVER EYE (5) can make his presence felt after a nice trial coming in.
