KHABALOV (5) resumes. He showed promise in a four run maiden campaign, fourth on debut behind the talented Lovelycut at Sandown Lakeside. He tackled some horses with Saturday or better class ability last time in and can get off the mark here. NIC'S CHOICE (6) has been around the mark in three runs this time in, not far away in a small field at Sandown Lakeside last time out. He should be thereabouts. LADY ELSA (9) is a filly by Reliable Man on debut for the Littlefield yard who can run well. MIDNIGHT IN MINORI (10) missed the frame two back but was a lot better last time when second over 1400m at Werribee. Not to be discounted.
