EXPRESS GUARD (5) resumes. He started a well-supported $1.90 favourite on debut and was close up at Sale, in the market again before a spell at Seymour. The pieces were there to suggest he can be a big improver this time around. ASTRAL FLAME (7) ran well on debut at Sandown Lakeside when in the market, finding the line from back in a small field to grab a narrow third. Drawn to get back again but she should be suited by the big track and prove hard to hold out. TIME TO BACA (11) is a daughter of Written Tycoon who ran well on debut here, beaten 1.5 lengths in second. That form should hold up nicely. JAKIVY (3) resumes. He's had a few chances but is consistent and can figure. VIVACISSIMO (12) is a filly by Contributer who can run well for team Hayes.
