BADONKIDONK (1) delivered as favourite last time out at Naracoorte and showed real grit late to get the win. Faces a stronger field here but is racing well and deserves plenty of respect. HAVADUEL (11) made the most of a switch to dirt last start with a solid win at Streaky Bay and brings confidence back to the turf. Capable of measuring up. AMBITIOUS CREEK (6) bounced back with a strong second at Balaklava over this sort of trip and looks well placed to go one better. BUSH INFERENCE (5) found the 2500m a stretch last time in town but drops in distance here and can run a much improved race. MASTER OF CEREMONY (9) next best.
