GYPSY POWER (3) raced near the speed then battled on okay to be beaten under two lengths last Sunday over this distance at Coonamble. Drops back sharply in grade so he makes plenty of appeal on a six-day back-up. RANHITA (7) flew home to win her maiden over this course and distance two runs ago when fresh from a seven-week let-up. Tackled a much stronger race at Muswellbrook last time and struggled. Suited here and should bounce back. HERMOSA ROSA (2) made it two wins from her last three runs when she scrambled home over this trip at Mudgee a fortnight ago. Has her share of weight but on current form is difficult to knock. LOUD (6) led for home but was swamped late over 1200m at Forbes last Saturday. Nicely drawn and sure to give backers a sight. SLUSH FUND (4) finished ahead of Loud at Forbes seven days ago. Tricky gate with 61kgs but cannot be ruled out.
