Verdict

CADBOLL (1) was poor last start but previous form was good enough for a race of this quality. Been freshened and preparations included a Colac trial on Sept 9 when he comfortably held Wishlor Lass, who subsequently ran Another Wil to 1.5 lengths in a Listed race. Will make his own luck on-speed. GRINZINGER LOVE (10) was a dominant winner in maiden grade last start, which followed a good first-up run. This is tougher, though, and does have a wide gate to overcome. KEANE ENUFF (4) hasn't been far away at two runs this time in and should be nearing peak fitness. CHESSPIECE (9) is up in grade here but is from a smart camp and is drawn to get every chance.
