LITTLE BEGINNINGS (6) finally found some form when going under narrowly to Junqueira over 1250m at Canterbury on February 14. Saves his best for this trip and the senior rider goes on now. Genuine contender. OUR BAMBINO (11) dynamic gelding who sprinted well first-up with the 61.5kg when a gritty third over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Has excellent second-up figures and look for him late with the claim. RUSSIAN RONI (4) scratched from Canterbury Friday night to be saved for this. Set to peak here and drawn to get the right run. Value prospect. OSMAN (3) tough gelding who was no match for his stablemate Amicus Curiae first-up when fourth over 1200m at Warwick Farm. Goes much better second-up and has the ability to take this out. The chances don't end there.
