SAINT WINIFRED (13) is knocking on the door with back to back third placings, beaten under a length at Cranbourne two back before another close up finish at Yarra Valley over 1950m. This doesn't look any harder, she should be hard to hold out. ARIMACS (1) has run fourth in both career starts to date, only half a length behind Saint Winifred at Yarra Valley last time out. He maps for a nice run here and should improve again. PEEAITCHDEE (9) made good improvement at his second start after being beaten a long way on debut at Seymour. He should appreciate getting over more ground and maps for a soft trail. SO BRAVE (7) ran a solid race on debut at Pakenham over 1600m, battling on for fourth. He's a So You Think gelding who should improve up in trip here. MARLIN (4) has been about the mark of late and can figure.
