Interesting little clash. RIP 'N' RIP (6) just found one better at the first four starts this time in, atoning with a dominant five-length maiden win over this track and distance as a $1.50 favourite. He can go on with it now. MR VIVACI (5) couldn't have been much more impressive breaking his maiden fresh at Yarra Valley, spearing clear around the bend to go on and win by nine lengths. Beat nothing there but has to be respected. AL DUCA (2) can mix his form but has been behind some smart ones of late and should get a nice run with Zahra up. WORCESTER (8) maps to land in front from a low draw and will take some catching. SOUND OF JURA (7) could measure up.

VerdictAt the latest run 5th of 10 at Colac Bm64 on February 7 over 1600m, 5.5 len behind Crafty Boss carrying 60.5kg at $5. The run before that tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by a head at Seymour Bm64 January 16 over 1600m defeating Mr Verse with 59.5kg at $4.80. Rough hope.
