SPIONE (9) debuted at this track and distance and proved too strong, winning by a head. It's not easy to go straight to a BM64 but this doesn't look an overly strong affair and he can measure right up. HARALDUS (14) resumes having shown promise in his maiden campaign. Don't think 1200m will be an issue for the son of Harry Angel and he should run a good race. EASY JAY (3) is coming off a dominant win in easier grade at Warrnambool. His form prior was okay but if he can repeat last start he's in the mix. DARK JOURNEY (12) has just found one better at his past couple and has claims from a soft draw. HERE THE CROWD (10) can improve.
