€60,000 Doctor Dino gelding out of a bumper winner in France, half-sister to fairly useful 17f hurdle winner Gars En Noir. Gambled-on 11/10, perfect start in C&D juvenile maiden last month, conceding experience to all his rivals but outmatching them physically and proving a cut above. Looks useful.

Maxios gelding from the family of smart hurdler/useful chaser (stays 2½m) Le Patriote. Attracted some support but held back by inexperience when well held on debut at Hereford (Star of Guiting clear in third) 3 weeks ago. Needs to leave that behind now tongue tied.

Shaped a bit better than first time up given a more patient ride back at Sedgefield in October. Plenty more needed against the penalised winners.
