STAR DIESEL (1) switched from a sharp Sydney stable and first-up did a good job placing at Seymour from a wide barrier. He generally rides the speed and has a handy barrier today and the first-time blinkers on. He has plenty up his sleeve and fitter can take it out. SNAPPY TYCOON (5) missed a half-length here before recording a nose defeat at Ararat bet into even money. Maps well and will get every chance to go one better. THE WAYFARER (2) was outgraded at Bendigo but was a big winner at Swan Hill prior at this level. He will run along from an inside gate and the 3kg claim brings him into it. AIRCLASH (4) was plain at Moe (vet cleared) but was going okay prior. Come back to a sprint and that should suit better.
