MOLLYNICKERS (14) has been building to something all preparation without things going her way. She was very good late two back in the G2 Tristarc Stakes at Caulfield, left with too much to do off a very slow tempo at Flemington last time. The splits there said she ran as well as she could, and she should get a much stronger pace to run out now. DASHING (7) has been solid in two runs back and looks primed to peak third up. He was okay behind Light Infantry Man at Flemington but that's good form for this and he should get a good run. MILITARY EXPERT (9) comes down from Queensland, formerly with Neasham & Archibald, now with Gavin Bedggood. He's certainly capable on his day. NUGGET (1) was very good at G2 level two back and outclassed behind Via Sistina last time. That's world class form, back to 1600m suits, he can win.
