EYESPY THE EAGLE (1) started at 101.0 but ran a cheeky race on debut last start over 1300m at Newcastle, travelling on the speed then battling on well for a close fourth. Should enjoy the extra furlong and with race experience now on his side he looks the one to beat. LOVIN' HARRY (11) has rolled along in front in his last two runs but has been cut down late, most recently when fourth over this distance at Muswellbrook. Either leads or box-seats from gate one and should be right there at the finish. CASABLANCA EXPRESS (9) is back from a five-month spell. Best effort last prep was when third over this distance at Hawkesbury second-up. Will be better for this run but in a modest line-up can still play a big role. MONTIGO BAY (8) recorded her fourth placing from ten starts when a closing third over the mile here last time. Each-way chance again. GALLANT RUSH (2) did a fair job on debut last start at Newcastle and can improve.
