ANNIE ONE READY (6) was well in the betting at Doomben on debut but just ran into one better on that occasion. Will be better for that hit-out and where there's smoke there's fire. Looks the one they all have to run down. WARRIOR HEAD (4) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in four of five overall including a runner-up finish over this track and trip. Strips fitter second-up and should play a prominent role in the outcome. NSW galloper INSAIN (1) hails from a stable that is flying at present and doesn't need to improve much to be in the mix for a lion's share of the prize money. DAZZLING DIAMOND (7) will be better second-up, draws the inside alley and gets 2kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. LINWAR (2) next in line.
