Ciaron Maher's PIASTRI (2) is a promising four-year-old back from a six-month break. Opened last prep with a big win at Sale then raced through his grades impressively. Nicely drawn and has the ability to take care of this field. Former Godolphin galloper PANTELONE (4) last appeared when successful over 1200m at Moonee Valley on 29 November. Trialled okay for new trainer Glenn Richardson recently and should give a good account. FLAMING CONQUEST (3) dropped sharply in the weights and staged a form reversal to score over 1000m at the Gold Coast when she last raced five weeks ago. Loves this trip and from a nice draw should be highly competitive again. TEN TRINITY SQUARE (19) has won three from four and is back after a fourteen-week lay-off. Untapped talent who has drawn terribly but is too good to leave out. ARISPHERE (13) races for the first time since late November. Was unstoppable for much of last prep and a recent trial win suggests she is up for this.
