UK import EL JASOR (8) looks to have finally settled into his new home. Dominated first-up at the Sunshine Coast then launched late but missed by a whisker last start over 2206m at Eagle Farm. Gets out to his preferred trip and drops 3kgs to take on this slightly better field. Ready to peak. WALTHAM (3) settled back in the field and was never a factor when resuming on the 1900m Group 3 Parramatta Cup three weeks ago. Beaten under a length in the AJC St Leger at the end of last prep so he has the class to test this field. BEDFORD SQUARE (11) has been working home well without threatening in 2200m races of late. Yet to miss the frame in four tries at today's trip so he makes plenty of each-way appeal down in the weights. AGE OF SAIL (4) lengthened nicely to easily win a BM80 over 2200m at Eagle Farm last start. Just as effective over this extra furlong so another big run is on the cards. DOUBLE CHERRY (5) is open to plenty of improvement at the second run back over more ground.
