Verdict
One of a few absolute raffles on the card. ELOUYOU (5) is a horse with some ability and a consistent overall record, never missing a place from nine starts. Form around The Open reads quite well for this and although 1400m suits better, he has run second over the 1100m here in this grade. PIVOT CITY (12) only had one run last time in at Moe and struggled as a $3.30 chance. He's a horse with some talent if he can find his best. CHEVAL CHIC (11) struggled in the G3 Bellmaine Stakes last time and looks far better placed back to benchmark grade. She was a close up fourth, albeit in a bunched finish, at G3 level here prior. MATERIAL DREAMS (6) is racing consistently and has form around the right sort of types for this. Each way. PRANCING SPIRIT (7) could run a race fresh.

When resuming last campaign 3rd of 8 at Moonee Valley Bm64 on February 2 2024 over 1000m, 1.5 len behind Old Time Rock carrying 59.5kg at $1.50.
