SET TO SHINE (6) was handy enough on the bend but after some interference when they straightened she failed to come on last start behind Northern Decree over this course and distance. Meets that runner 4.5kgs better today and can improve at the third run back from a spell. NORTHERN DECREE (1) made it two from two this prep when he came from midfield on the corner to coast home in a similar race to this here a fortnight ago. Getting up in the weights but can improve further at this early stage of the campaign. CENTRESTONE (10) led but knocked up behind Northern Decree last time out when second-up. Regularly underperforms at that stage of the prep but her third-up form is better so watch for a turnaround. UNTIL VALHALLA (12) chased Northern Decree home here last start in an eye-catching performance. One to watch for late in the piece again. TOESONTHENOSE (5) surprised a few when third in the same race as today's chief rivals here recently. Cannot be ruled out.
