Small field but a fascinating race. ZARDOZI (6) improved nicely second up in the G2 Blamey Stakes at Flemington, finding a strongly run race and hitting the line strongly for third. She's set up nicely to 1800m here but the small field might play against her stamina. Huge watch on PRIDE OF JENNI (5) who resumes from a very short-lived retirement. First-up at 1800m is the query and she had a few issues in her last two runs, but on her day she's clearly the best horse in the race. FUTURE HISTORY (2) was okay fresh in the Blamey and will be fitter. Out to 1800m now, he can roll forward and potentially control the race. PLENTY OF AMMO (4) also comes through the Blamey and has minor claims. QUE TEMPESTA (3) resumes and wouldn't shock entirely.
