Failed to get into the contest when eighth to the speedy Willaidow over 1200m in BM78 grade on August 10. Fitted with two solid trials and the tongue tie comes off here. Strong winning chance. DEMIANA (4) underrated mare who returns from a layoff of four months. Has excellent figures over this course and trip and was not asked to do much when second in a recent 850m trial. Sure to figure prominently. IMATRUESTAR (5) Taree trained gelding who surprised at big odds when a fast finishing fourth behind Spanish Fox over 1300m at Rosehill last time out. Claim helps and can add value to the exotics. SCORCH (2) first-up tonight for the Hawkes yard and his best form is usually early in the prep. Has the two trials in readiness for this and maps to get the right run.
