BONDI PLUNGE (3) just missed when sitting on the speed throughout in an Apprentice Series race at the midweeks 17 days ago, beaten 0.3L. Brad Parnham hops in the saddle now and she's won 2/4 second-up. Looks well placed and can go one better now. LET'S TALK (4) sat in behind the speed last start and was too good, winning by 0.8L on resumption over 1000m. The rise in trip is now issue and he looks to be open to plenty of improvement. Lightly raced an improving, he's an attractive commodity in this event. HYMNS OF ELADDAIR (1) returned to winning ways last start over 1400m at this track and gets the blinkers on back in grade today. Pike sticking is a positive sign and he's expected to be in the finish once again. OCEAN GODDESS (9) looks to have ability and will be better for the fresh run. Can feature down in the handicap.
