PRINCE OF SANTOS (7) ran away to win impressively over 1400m at Pinjarra, scoring by 2.4L as favourite. Form out of the race hasn't been great, though he's a progressive type and he's still lightly raced. Looks a nice horse on the way up and he can bring up back-to-back wins. SKYTALKER (5) bounced back last start when only 1.4L over 1400m here most recently when running on from the back. This is a tougher race, but he drops plenty of weight and he rates highly on that latest effort. Should be at his peak now and he can play a major role. ON PATROL (4) disappointed last time out after a good effort in this grade two back. The draw is a touch tricky, but he's out to this trip for the first time and he's sure to be in the finish. HIGH COMMISSION (9) was scratched from other races to line up here after a long layoff. CJP rides in a good push for his chances. Worth keeping an eye on. BOAB BOY (1) can improve on a solid first-up effort.
