LIEUTENANT DUNBAR (3) looks to have his hoof on the till following a 0.6L defeat at this track and trip last time out. He boasts a strong third-up record and this looks to shape similarly to his latest effort. At his top now and should be very hard to reel in. GOLDEN DORE (1) scored by 2.9L at Albany last start in an effort that was very hard to ignore. He's lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement, especially as that win came off a 59-day break. Looks to have some class and he can put that on display here. CAPORETTO (8) was just 1.1L away last time out when finishing behind Lieutenant Dunbar. Chris Parnham remains in the saddle and he may be able to sit a little closer from the inside draw today. Ticks a few boxes and is worth thought. CHOIXWAY (2) won well first-up at Geraldton and is in the mix. CAPO VELOCE (5) is better than he's shown his past couple and can get back to his best now third-up.
