The PokerStars Cash Race track is made up of three chicanes. While navigating each chicane, you’ll receive a points boost if you hit the ‘bonus card’ for that chicane. Your position on the track will be based on how many hands you’ve played that day.

While you’re playing at the tables, you’ll see an overview of the chicane you’re negotiating and the bonus card for that sector. You’ll also find a map of the PokerStars Cash Race track in your Challenges Window.
You’ll earn points based on the value of your hole cards. Points will be awarded when the entire hand has been played, not when your turn finishes.
It’s also worth noting that if you prefer to play Omaha, all four of your hole cards will count towards your progress.

Player A is about to start their 15th No Limit Hold’em hand of the day and would therefore be travelling through the Queen’s chicane. The dealer hands them 2(D) and Q(C). Based on the PokerStars Race scoring system, Player A would receive 14 points based on the value of their cards, plus 40 bonus points as Queens are the bonus card in this chicane.
Player B is going to play their first Pot Limit Omaha hand of the day. This means they are passing through the Jack’s chicane. They are dealt 3(S), 9(D), 10(C) and 7(S). This hand would earn 29 leader board points.
What is being offered
Players who play No Limit Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha cash games during the offer period, as specified below, can earn Leader Board points and be in the chance to win a share of over $22,000 worth of prizes each day.
There are multiple PokerStars Cash Race Leader Boards to choose from, based on the game stake. Full information is available in the Leader Board lobby.
When is the offer being conducted
This offer runs from 04:00 ET on April 17, 2023 until 23:59 ET on July 16, 2023. Each day the Leader Boards start at 00:00 ET and ends at 23:59 ET, apart from April 17, 2023 which starts at 04:00 ET and ends at 23:59 ET.
Who is eligible to take part and how can you qualify
The offer is available to any player who holds an active and verified real-money account with PokerStars.
To participate in the offer and have the progress measured, players must opt-in to a chosen Leader Board via Leader Board section or by selecting 'Opt-in' at eligible tables. One initial opt-in per stake is required to be eligible to participate in that Leader Board for the duration of the offer. Any No Limit Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha cash games played prior to opting in will not count towards the progress.
Once opted in, players will earn Leader Board points based on received hole cards, as shown below:

To complete one lap, players must play 60 hands. Each lap is divided into 3 sections (“chicanes”) and players will earn a boosted number of points in each chicane when collecting a specific card, as per below:

In the event of a tie, players with the same number of Leader Board points will be ranked based on when the last eligible hand was played for that Leader Board, from first to last.
Wagering requirements and limitations by type of game
Leader Boards can only be competed in by playing real money No Limit Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha hands with matching stake levels.
Claiming and redeeming the offer
At the end of each day, the player who has scored the most points will be the winner of the Leader Board. Prizes are detailed below.

All prizes will be paid out within 48 hours of the end of each Leader Board day, with no restrictions or earning requirements.
